Kampwater successfully completed a turn-key water treatment project for Lifehealth Robinson in Randfontein. The project began with geohydrological assessments, followed by the drilling and development of two boreholes to ensure a reliable water supply. Kampwater designed and installed a 9kL per hour water treatment system, incorporating sediment removal and nanofiltration (NF) to produce high-quality water suitable for the facility’s operations.
Additionally, chlorine dioxide is dosed after the NF process to ensure proper disinfection. A control system was also installed to enable automatic switchover to municipal water, ensuring continuous availability during borehole downtime. We provided an advanced online monitoring system that tracks borehole water levels, process and clean water tanks, as well as real-time water quality. This solution ensures efficient water management and consistent quality for Lifehealth Robinson, with a favorable return on investment (ROI).
