Kampwater successfully completed a turn-key water treatment project for Mediclinic Victoria, providing a customized solution to meet the clinic’s water demands. The project began with geohydrological assessments, followed by the drilling and development of two boreholes to ensure a reliable water supply. Kampwater designed and installed a 6kL per hour water treatment system, incorporating sediment removal and nanofiltration (NF) to produce high-quality water suitable for Mediclinic Victoria’s operations.
To ensure the safety of the treated water, chlorine dioxide is dosed after the NF process for thorough disinfection. A control system was also installed to enable seamless switchover to municipal water, guaranteeing continuous water availability during borehole downtime. The system is further enhanced by an advanced online monitoring system, which tracks borehole water levels, process and clean water tanks, and real-time water quality.
In a unique financing arrangement, Kampwater, in partnership with Broadreach, offered a rent-to-own option, replacing the clinic’s monthly OPEX costs with a more affordable solution that ensures ownership at the end of the term. Kampwater also managed the Water Use License Application (WULA), ensuring full regulatory compliance. This comprehensive solution provides Mediclinic Victoria with efficient water management, consistent water quality, and long-term financial benefits.
