Project Overview
Treatment Process: The benefit of using UV treatment for effluent sterilization is that it is a non-chemical treatment. At Wellington Waste Water Plant the effluent flows to a river and in order not to contaminate the ecosystem with chlorine; UV is preferred as the treatment option. The objective: e-coli counts less than 100/ml.
Project Solution
We installed 4 x In-Line UV Systems – DN350; with 6 x 4Kw lamps each. Total treatment capacity up to 45MLD.
